ABOUT ME
Maria Karla L. Gonzales is a resident of Ilaya, Calapan City, and was born in San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro, on October 10, 1988. She is an alumna of the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design program, majoring in Painting.
Her artistic inspiration is derived from nature, which she expresses through her floral and landscape paintings. Initially, she was inclined toward oil painting as her primary medium due to its technical qualities, but later shifted to acrylic for practical reasons. She is also skilled in digital media. Her use of color and some aspects of her subject matter are inspired by the works of Tom Wesselmann and Frida Kahlo.
